2024 Pinot Blanc | Phantom | Tualatin Hills AVA

In 1960, the F-4 Phantom II took to the skies as a game changing multirole fighter that would define U.S. air power for decades. The F-4 pilot slogan became  “speed is life” after it set the world speed record in 1961. The Phantom’s versatility quickly placed it as a cornerstone of Cold War-era aviation. Equipped with an array of weapons and advanced radar, the F-4 proved effective in both dogfights and precision bombing. It played a key role in Vietnam, achieving over 200 aerial kills. Its remarkable adaptability bridged the gap between the Century Series jets and future generations of fighter aircraft. Despite more than 60 years of service, the F-4’s outstanding record is the reason it remains in use worldwide.

» Winemaking notes:
Hand picked, single block Pinot Blanc from Old 47 Estate on the western slopes of the Tualatin Hills AVA. Unfined and polished filtered with natural and added sulfites for freshness, no additional preservatives, animal products, or residual sugar. Enjoy chilled by itself or with a light meal.

Bright, sleek, and hauntingly elegant, Phantom is a white that overdelivers. Crisp orchard fruit and white peach dive across the palate, backed by a payload of lively acidity and a clean, mineral-driven finish. Subtle strafes of citrus blossom and wet stone add depth and tension, giving the wine both precision and grace. Phantom is a refreshing contrast to voluptuous whites and built for those who crave a vibrant, tropical, white wine.
