2020 Pinot Noir Wadenswil | No Man's Land | Chehalem Mts

World War I (1914 - 1918) was a collision between the old world and modern technology. Known as the “Great War,” it was the first time in history that nations fought with planes, tanks, and machine guns with devastating effect. These technological advancements perpetuated trench warfare and a grueling stalemate across four fronts. The aftermath spurred revolution, redrew borders, and induced economic depression which ultimately led to World War II. We pay homage to those who faced the unimaginable perils of no man’s land: the treacherous strip of wasteland between opposing trenches.
